Mykerah Mackey-Robinson is an educator, leadership consultant, and author dedicated to helping schools cultivate strong leaders, meaningful literacy experiences, and thriving learning environments.

Mykerah began her career in education as a kindergarten teacher, where she developed a deep understanding of early learning, literacy development, and the importance of nurturing both academic and personal growth in young students.

She later expanded her work in education through leadership and consulting, helping schools strengthen their culture and leadership practices to support long-term success.

Mykerah holds a Master’s degree in Teaching and is a graduate of Leadership Memphis, a program that develops leaders committed to strengthening their communities and organizations.

Through Robinson Literacy & Leadership Consulting, Mykerah works alongside school leaders to help them cultivate environments where:

• educators feel supported and empowered
• students feel inspired to learn
• leadership practices promote long-term growth and stability

She is also the creator of the Fruitful Leadership Framework, a leadership approach designed to help leaders build strong teams, develop healthy culture, and lead with intention.

Author & Literacy Advocate

In addition to her consulting work, Mykerah is a multi-author and the author of the children’s book The Fruit of YOU, a story that encourages young readers to explore character, confidence, and the impact of their choices.

The book quickly gained attention, with its first print run selling out in just seven hours and becoming one of Memphis’s top-selling children’s books.

Mykerah has also been featured on WREG Live at 9, where she shared the inspiration behind her work and the impact of The Fruit of YOU on children and families. Through school visits, read-aloud experiences, and literacy events, she brings the power of storytelling into classrooms and communities.

At the heart of Mykerah’s work is a belief that leadership, literacy, and culture are deeply connected. By equipping leaders, supporting educators, and engaging students through meaningful literacy experiences, she helps schools create environments where learning thrives and people grow.

Work with Mykerah to strengthen leadership, literacy engagement, and school culture.
